Website Design and Development

I am currently attending classes at Portland Community College for a degree in website development and design. That said, I already have considerable experience in website management, having developed several websites already.

I am already very knowledgeable in HTML, CSS, and have recently begun working with Javascript, flash and PHP technology. Over the next two years, I will be honing my skills in server technologies, and database driven web site technology.

Using software such as Adobe Dreamweaver CS4™ I have created complex websites such as this one. I can do the same for you, for an incredibly low price...

If you need a simple interface blog or gallery site, I am very experienced in working with Wordpress and Gallery 2. I can upload, install, and configure them for you on your own server, or I can host them for you for a very reasonable cost.

If you need hosted space I highly recommend ANHosting. Look for their ad in the sidebar, they offer large quantities of disk space, bandwidth, and free domain registration. Their tech support is fantastic, and they are extremely affordable.

Website Management

Perhaps you don't want to mess with constantly updating a website, or do not want to learn the process of dealing with the interface. I can give you peace of mind by taking care of those responsibilities for you. By managing your site for you, I take care of updating the code, posting your new material, and images and handle any tech support issues for you.

Websites I Have Created

Monticello Camera Club - I have created and managed this website for over two years. We recently changed hosts, and in the process underwant a major overhaul. The Monticello Camer Club website is a combination of Wordpress and Gallery. It is a complex website that involves hours of installation and configuration time depending upon how much customization the customer requires. A site like the MCC site could run $1000 or more to set up.

FantzyPantz - FantzyPants is a commercial site that uses Wordpress as a base, with an e-commerce plug in to allow the vendor an easy interface, that allows them to post new products quickly and easily. This is a rather simple site for set up and cost purposes. A site like FantzPantz would cost around $200-$300 plus hosting costs. A site like FantzyPantz would be the bare minimum of costs one should expect for an e-commerce site.

MJDigitalArt - This site, is now created using Adobe Dreamweaver™. It is a very complex site with 15 pages or more, with Javascript, Flash, custom CSS buttons, Adspace, custom headers etc. Every single graphic had to be created, and ads generated, Javascript installed etc... a site like this one takes days to create, and would run up 10's of hours, and thousands of dollars worth of time. However, if you want a custom site, for the lowest cost... I'm your guy.
